In addition, he has a vast engineering management expertise in planning, directing and controlling the Technical Asset Management and Technical Service Engineering teams with priorities of (i) maintaining professional business and engineering integrity, (ii) sustaining company culture, (iii) obeying applicable laws and regulations, (iv) creating safe, fair and ethical work environment, and (v) achieving lowest possible operational unit cost. Rasih, managed aircraft full life cycle from such aspects like market research, aircraft selection, lease contract negotiations, technical specification, and delivery from manufacturer/lessor, operation, maintenance reserve management and redelivery to lessor. Actively participated and led operating lease contract re-negotiations with lessors to optimize the lease-cycle cost of 20+ B737NGs. Actively working as Technical Consultant of the Lessor since 2017 and gathered full insight of the Lessor perspective on Lease transitions and contracting. Managed various type of aircraft transition since then including on-site representation and remote record controls.

Dr. Zane Tavana

Professor Hossein “Zane” Tavana earned his Ph.D. in Transportation Engineering with emphasis on operations research from the University of Texas at Austin. He also holds a Master of Science degree in Finance from the Chapman Graduate School of Business, Florida International University (FIU).
Zane has more than 20 years’ work experience in leading and advisory roles in the airline, cruise line, agriculture and consumer packaged goods industries. He is a subject matter expert in pricing and revenue management, and enterprise analytics. He has multiple publications in peer reviewed journals and many presentations at technical conferences globally. He is currently a Research Professor at the Enterprise and Logistics Engineering graduate program at FIU.

Farshid Azadian

Dr. Farshid Azadian has over ten years of experience in performing complex quantitative analysis in the aviation industries in the field of operations management and financial modeling. He specializes in air cargo market and route analysis, fleet assessment, and operations planning. Aside from the air cargo sector, Dr. Azadian has led projects and worked across other sectors of the aviation industry, including aircraft valuation and appraisal, analysis of Unmanned Aircraft Systems (UAS) and business plan development for startup satellite industries. He has also provided technical support for legal cases in the airline and airport sectors.
Dr. Azadian holds a Ph.D. in industrial engineering. He is an Associate Professor of Air Cargo Management and Supply Chain at David B. O’Maley College of Business at Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University, Daytona Beach, Florida (US).
